Rooted in season and place.

Driven by a reverence for the natural world and a desire to keep the environmental impact low in my practice, Pigeon and Poppy focuses on using hyper-seasonal, pesticide-free flowers, grown by local East coast farmers. I also compost organic materials after your event to reduce waste, which then feeds back into my Brooklyn garden where I grow a few of these specialty flowers. Not only does this lend itself to the sustainability of the work, but it creates a flower experience that is entirely, uniquely yours - grown this week, gone the next. The art we craft together will not happen again, but the details live on in our memories, bringing us back to those special moments when each season comes around, bringing with it the scent of sweet peas, the glow of a dahlia, or the trailing wisp of nasturtium vines.
